Aeration Systems

Aeration is a method widely used to remove volatile chemical compounds from water through the use of an airstripper.   Aeration is also the best available technology for the reduction of radon in well water.

An airstripper simply works by introducing oxygen into the water supply, forcing the contaminants from the water and causing them to evaporate so they can be safely vented.  Upon entering the atmosphere, UV light from the sun and oxygen causes the chemicals to dissipate.

Depending on the client’s need, North American Aqua can provide multi-stage aeration, spray and/or diffused  bubble  aeration.  Pictures are for representation purposes only.  Actual system configurations may vary.
